Objective of the study is to characterize the motor function and decrease gait in children with DMD using the Portuguese version of the Motor Function Measure scale.
There is a positive correlation between the loss of the ability to walk and functionality in children with DMD. Gait deficits are more evident when the patients have more difficulties in performing activities related to the standing posture and proximal member functions.
